Ill be high school when im 17 I'm looking to go to the AG technology can Valdosta. If accepted where I want to try football for the team .. I love football, although he played one year. I know all that, he also played strong safety. I had two years to earn a lot of weight that I am willing to do. Right now I'm still doing a lot of lifting and cardio, also bulking.
I'm sure that depends largely on the school. I refine what position (s) you want to try to see if you can get a kind of recreational league to hone your skills with the position (s).

1979 Rose Bowl: USC vs Michigan DVD $8.57 Star running back Charles White helped lead Southern Cal to victory. By the finish, White had accrued 99 yards and a controversial touchdown. In the second quarter, USC had the ball on the Wolverines’ three-yard line. White plunged into the end zone for a touchdown. Or did he? Replays would later show he didn’t have the ball, which had ended up in the hands of a Michigan defender. White and Michigan quarterback Rick Leach shared player of the game honors, as Leach was almost able to lead the Big Blue back with a 44 yard touchdown strike to Roosevelt Smith in the third quarter. In the end, however, the ’79 Rose Bowl proved to be a predominately defensive battle between two of college football’s most storied institutions. |

2006 Rose Bowl-Texas vs. Usc $24.95 The Greatest Championship Game In The History Of College Football January 4, 2006. Before 94,000 fans at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and half of a nation watching on television, Vince Young carried the Texas Longhorns on his back and broke Southern California s 34-game winning streak en route to claiming their fourth National Championship and first in over 35 years. The hype could not have been bigger surrounding the match up of the top two BCS teams, No. 1 Southern California and No. 2 Texas. On the field would be the last two Heisman Trophy winners and the current Heisman runner-up, Vince Young. With 6:42 left to play in the fourth quarter it looked as if the dream season for Texas may come to a close but Vince Young and the Longhorns would not go away that easily. Young carried the Longhorns down the field and closed the gap to 38-33 with 4:03 remaining, scoring on a 17-yard touchdown run. In an attempt to run out the clock and deny Young another chance, Southern California moved the ball to the Texas 45 and faced fourth-and-two with 2:09 left. Texas Coach Mack Brown was not surprised by Southern California s decision to go for it on fourth down. We told our defense, if we stop this fourth-down play, we re going to win the National Championship. The Longhorns got the ball back and gave Young one last chance. Facing fourth and five with 19-seconds to play, Young sidestepped the USC defenders and glided into the end zone and Texas history, winning 41-38.This DVD contains the complete 2006 Rose Bowl Game, presented by Citi, with coverage from ABC Sports, without commercial interruption, presented in fullscreen (1.33:1) digital video. 21: Bringing Down the House: The Inside Story of Six M.I.T. Students Who Took Vegas for Millions $0.01 It’s Friday night and you’re on a red-eye to the city of sin. Strapped to your chest is half a million dollars; in your overnight bag is another twenty-five thousand in blackjack chips; and your wallet holds ten fake IDs. As soon as you land in Las Vegas, you are positive you are being investigated and followed. To top it all off, the IRS is auditing you, someone has been going through your mail — and you have a multivariable calculus exam on Monday morning. Welcome to the world of an exclusive group of audacious MIT math geniuses who legally took the casinos for over three million dollars — while still finding time for college keg parties, football games, and final exams. In the midst of the go-go eighties and nineties, a group of overachieving, anarchistic MIT students joined a decades-old underground blackjack club dedicated to counting cards and beating the system at major casinos around the world. While their classmates were working long hours in labs and libraries, the blackjack team traveled weekly to Las Vegas and other glamorous gambling locales, with hundreds of thousands of dollars duct-taped to their bodies. Underwritten by shady investors they would never meet, these kids bet fifty thousand dollars a hand, enjoyed VIP suites and other upscale treats, and partied with showgirls and celebrities. Handpicked by an eccentric mastermind — a former MIT professor and an obsessive player who had developed a unique system of verbal cues, body signals, and role-playing — this one ring of card savants earned more than three million dollars from corporate Vegas, making them the object of the casinos’ wrath and eventually targets of revenge. Here is their inside story, revealing their secrets for the first time. Master storyteller Ben Mezrich takes you from the ivory towers of academia to the Technicolor world of Las Vegas, where anything can happen — and often does. Bringing Down the House launches you into the seedy underworld of corporate Ve |

A Fire to Win $15.99 Woody Hayes was one of the greatest football coaches in history—and one of the most fascinating. More than a brilliant coach, he was a complicated, contradictory man. The former history teacher ran his football empire as an absolute monarchy, but had a surprisingly altruistic side, hidden from the public, . and author John Lombardo uses his extensive sports-writing experience to craft an accurate portrait of one of the most complex and fascinating figures in football. First and foremost, Woody Hayes was a coach—and his achievements are stunning. While at Ohio State, he won five national titles, and thirteen Big Ten Conference championships, made eight Rose Bowl appearances, and earned two national Coach of the Year awards. Moreover, Hayes’s lifetime coaching record, 238–72–10, puts him in the first rank of college coaching immortals. No other coach won more games in a shorter period. Countless interviews of former players, assistant coaches, and friends shape the image of Hayes and his career, which spanned the mid-1940s to the late 1970s during a tremendous period of change in American society. A Fire to Win is an honest and revealing biography of Hayes, a man who ranks in the pantheon of football coaches. An easy-to-read, objective look at one of Ohio’s most powerful, complex, admired, feared, and contradictory figures. — The Columbus Dispatch A sympathetic yet evenhanded examination of a modern coaching giant. — Booklist Insightful and comprehensive biography. — The New York Sun Contradictions, of course, are what make Hayes fascinating. And Lombardo delves into those contradictions with a cell biologist’s eye for detailand a landscape painter’s eye for perspective. —Chicago Tribune |

A Tiger’s Walk observes him as he battles the highs and lows of championship and losing seasons, coaching hirings and firings, and personal success and tragedy. Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, the self-proclaimed football capital of the South, Rob Pate grew up well aware of the significance of college football in his home state. At the age of five he embarked on a journey in football that carried him from a proud youth league ballpark in small-town Alabama to the splendor of SEC football, as well as to the National Football League. Readers can gain an understanding of daily life in college football and what today’s game is genuinely like, not from the perspective of someone who never touched the gridiron a day in his life, but rather from someone who recently stepped off the field for the very last time. Pate talk about facing some of the issues that have been buried for too long by college football’s big business bureaucracies. This is one Tiger’s walk in the world of today’s student athlete, helping fans watch from the sidelines and become one of the team. |
